I am Emma, a young South African woman inspired by Art and its capacity. I am a postgraduate electronic engineering student. I love people, the outdoors, sport and nature. My faith is important to me.I have a love for Visual Art and the unique ability it has to deliver a message. The expression and emotion of a moment captured by an artwork has the potential to appear tangible. Art transcends boundaries; it has infinite forms, purposes and influence. Art can heal, challenge, encourage and uplift.
I believe we are all artists, inspired and enlivened by The Creator.

Artwork by Emma Sharratt

Completed 2018 - 2019 (Student of Mr G McIver)

Charcoal sketches (Varying sizes: A5 - 55x75cm)
Oil painting (60x90cm)

Each of these artworks is layered with meaning, and honours the unique and inspiring stories of the respective individuals. I love creating art that “speaks”; art that illustrates stories that some are too afraid to share.
